COURSES - SAFETY TRAINING

NFPA 70E 2012 Training
Electrical dangers such as shock, electrocution, electrical explosion, and arc blast will always be present on the job, but a proper electrical training program and strategies can minimize the likelihood of injuries and fatalities. Our NFPA 70E Training focuses on the 2012 NFPA 70E arc flash electrical safety standard that addresses arc flash electrical safety requirements for employee workplaces that are necessary for the practical safeguarding of employees.
NFPA 70B Training
Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment Maintenance NFPA 70B training helps you develop and carry out an Electrical Preventive Maintenance (EPM) program for all types of equipment and assemblies. This recommended practice applies to preventive maintenance for electrical, electronic, and communication systems and equipment.
Medium To High Voltage Safety Training
Our medium to high voltage safety training program is available for your electrical engineering, electrical and safety staff, on your premises, tailored to your specific equipment and requirement. High Voltage Safety Training students will cover the maintenance and testing requirements for common substation devices, including power transformers, oil, air and vacuum circuit breakers, switchgear, ground grid systems, batteries, chargers and insulating liquids.
Lockout Tagout Training
"Lockout Tagout Training (LOTO)" refers to specific practices and procedures to safeguard employees from the unexpected energizing or startup of machinery and equipment, or the release of hazardous energy during service or maintenance activities. Our program created specifically to assist facilities in complying with the employee training requirements of OSHA's Lockout Tagout Training regulations and standards.
Meter Safety Training
Using an electrical meter safely and efficiently is perhaps the most valuable skill an electrician or technician can master, both for the sake of their personal safety and for proficiency at their trade. It can be daunting at first to use a meter knowing that you are connecting to live circuits which may harbor life threatening levels of voltage and current. Selection of the proper electrical measurement equipment and safe work practices is critical. Meter safety training is for anyone who works on live circuits.

NEC 2011 Update Training Class (4 Hours)
Students will learn about the latest NEC 2011 update training and how they impact their profession. Some of the topics in our NEC 2011 training includes; expanded AFCI protection, grounding procedures, reorganized rules in Article 220, new rules for GFCI, new updates for control panels and speed-drive systems.
SERVICES - ARC FLASH ANALYSIS
An arc flash analysis study is a detailed power system study that calculates the potential energy release in the event of an arc flash. OSHA requires that workplace hazards are identified and addressed to keep personnel safe. We have years of experience in power generation and utilities, industrial manufacturing, commercial manufacturing, government and municipal, educational and other commercial facilities.
